Sand and Gravel (Quarry) Liaison Committee

Representatives from other local parishes, county & district council, Hansons and other local organisations

This committee meets twice each year to review & discuss Hanson's development through the Trent Valley from the east towards Weston.

Previous councillors have worked very hard through these meetings to minimise the future impact on the village and its residents and achieved considerable success

By 2018 the workings are likely to be moving closer to the village area in accordance with obtained consents so these meetings will become ever more important in order to raise parishioners issues

Hanson also own a number of property assets around Weston Parish such as canal bridges, pathways and wooded areas so the meetings are used to discuss any issues arising involving those areas
