Concerns about safety at Cuttle Bridge junction
Several residents took the time yesterday to attend our monthly Parish Council meeting to highlight their concerns about safety at the Cuttle Bridge junction.
The Parish Council support these concerns and will do everything possible to continue highlighting this issue to the County Council for resolution. Many feel that traffic lights are the only safe solution.
Unfortunately there will be no quick remedy as the costs are significant and the County Council (who are responsible for funding and providing a solution) have many other problem areas to consider and prioritise.
Our only option at this stage is to ensure we collectively apply as much pressure as possible on the County Council. Individual letters of concern are what matters so please do write in to share your concerns. Simply use your own words and be sure to focus your comments on the safety of the junction.
You should address your emails to your elected council representative, Neil Atkin and you may wish to copy our MP Heather Wheeler. Please also send a copy to the Parish Council:

Please contact the clerk at Weston on Trent Parish Council if you would prefer to send a hand written letter.
